Meeting Kris Pearn
Today I was fortunate enough to attend PHA university's story boarding session, where I met the amazing Kris Pearn. The way he brings life to his boards (both visually with his artistic abilities, and audibly when presenting) was something I aspire to achieve. He was not only talented but also a down to earth guy I enjoyed listening to. Thanks for coming to Austin Kris.
You can check out Kris's blog to see his latest works.

Just Me
Every two weeks the crew of Powerhouse Animation is asked to submit an artistic entry to the "Luck of the Draw". The theme is ever changing and this time the subject was none other than - well, me! This is me through the eyes of my co-worker Chris Beaver. Thanks to everybody at PHA, and to see the rest of the entries visit their blog here.

MODELING III
My final for modeling 3 is a working model of my Pacific 20" bmx. I modeled and rigged this in 3D Studio Max, and compiled the renders in Photoshop.

Half Stack
Half Stack is a 3D render created in 3d Studio Max. This still was designed for a texture and lighting class I attended while at the Art Institute of Houston. At the time I was a guitar sales person at Guitar Center 442, the third largest store in the nation. While at work immersed in sticks and sounds I found inspiration for a "Frankenstein" Gibson in the Dark Fire and Traditional models. To finish it off I added a Marshall half stack, thus the pieces name, and a Vox amp turned backwards.
